Membership Information

School Year Membership
Annual membership for a child to enroll in a Boys & Girls Club is just $5.00 per school year.  We accept applications for children ages 6 to 17.  Please download our membership application and parent orientation guide.  Upon registration at your local Club, submit the completed application and membership fee.  Please contact your local Club for application information and enrollment questions.

Club Hours:  Most Clubs are open after school until 7 p.m.  Contact your local Club for hours of operation.
All Clubs will be closed on corresponding county school holidays.

Summer Membership
Summer membership for a child to enroll in a Boys & Girls Club is $20.00.  We accept applications for children ages 6 to 17.  Upon registration at your local Club, please submit a completed application and membership fee.  Please contact your local Club for application information and enrollment questions. Club Hours:  Clubs are open 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.  Contact your local Club for specific hours of operation.
All Clubs will be closed on corresponding county school holidays.

How to Volunteer in your Child's Boys & Girls Club

There are several ways for parents to become involved in the Club.  Opportunities vary from Club to Club.  Please contact your local Club for more information on ways to become involved.

Referral Information

SUCCESS STORY

Imani Jackson

Imani has been a member of the Johnny Mitchell Boys & Girls Club in Galveston for seven years.  She credits the Club staff and volunteers, specifically Ms. Carol Freeman, for helping her overcome the destruction and devastation caused by Hurricane Ike.  She recently graduated from Ball High School and will attend Howard University in Washington, D.C. this fall.  Imani hopes to become a middle school math teacher.
